OSHO Meditative Therapies

Meditative Therapies were created by Osho, who designed them scientifically for the modern humans. They represent a breakthrough in meditation, a way of speeding up the process of connecting with your natural state of being.

Background
Osho’s approach to therapy is straightforward: it can never be the ultimate solution to human problems, but it can be used as a tool to help prepare the ground for meditation. Based on this understanding, he created a series of Meditative Therapies. They all provide the opportunity to dissolve the tensions and repressions that keep you from being able to sit silently, and from that silent space observe the mind that creates all the problems in the first place.

Effective
Uniquely simple and effective, these methods involve a minimum of interaction among the participants, but the energy of the group supports going more deeply into your own personal process. No therapist is required, just a facilitator who has himself undergone the process repeatedly and has been trained in conducting it.

Energy!
Meditative Therapies are processes for freeing the energy, renewing vitality and creating the space for silence. The therapies work energetically, bypassing the conscious, analytical mind. They are therefore clear, pure processes in which you connect directly with your own energy, without any interference or intervention from a facilitator (except in rare circumstances where guidance is needed).

Combination
All stages are a combination of meditation and therapy: meditation, as it is a moment-to-moment encounter with yourself; and therapy, as you break through your conditioning by bypassing the analytical mind.
